Summer 2021 Session 2 -- What is YOURPace?

I'm targeting to have all milestones for both of these submitted by the 20th because end of semester is the 27th.

This would leave me with THREE left.

OLS 600 Leading Change with Dr Kim-Marie Jenkins
OLS 630 Conflict and Negotiation with Dr Amanda Wickramasinghe
OLS 650 Capstone with Dr Ronald Biron

I'm most nervous for 600 because I don't know who Jenkins is. I'm excited for 630 because I loved my first class with Dr Wickramasinghe. However, 650 scares me. Remember that nightmare class I said had 200 pages of writing? That was also Dr. Biron. He's BRILLIANT. I really enjoy reading his feedback and his stories are amazing. The amount of work however is insane.

Oh no! Dr. Biron is the Capstone prof? Oh man.....that would make me nervous and stressed. Hopefully it won't be another 200 pages.

OLS 530 Diversity So the Fish Roe and Caviar article was a mistake but I passed my milestone! I spent my childhood summers on the Navajo Reservation, so I wrote about how the article excludes the Native populations of the Navajo, Hopi, and Pueblo of Isleta. They have a term where they called people who eat fish, fish cannibals. Fish isn't a part of the cuisine or culture of the civilization of which I spent my summers growing up. My life was pretty much hospitals in California, a little bit of time in the SoCal area, and my freedom months (the summer) was in New Mexico.

OLS 530 is writing heavy. But, it's not research heavy. It is a lot of here's a theory about diversity. Now, have you experienced in your life? Think back, etc. It is a lot of it.

Professor Lisa Leduc is really awesome and her feedback is super on point.

OLS 640 Innovation The outline was killer. You have to have drafts before your finals. Which is actually REALLY cool. But the outline had to be 7 pages. The professor's advice is AWESOME. I wish I can go to one of his lectures in person now that I have my hearing aids. He explains things and connects to things extremely well.

I thought that fish roe one had to be a mistake. It just seemed so out of place for the course topic.

Second set of milestones for OLS 530 is each 5 pages of writing. I have 2 more sets to do after this one. THis is the first time I don't think I'll finish a class and have to take an F.

Over 60 pages of essays BEFORE the final.

Does anyone know of a direct transfer of UMPIS BUS 415 Operation Management? If so, that could save me from having to take another term and i'd still have my 30 credits through them as I have to take 1 more elective.

Are you currently an enrolled student? You'll need permission from your academic advisor to take classes outside of UMPI and transfer them in if you're enrolled. Have you completed the minimum UL courses required at UMPI?

ETA: I just looked at your transcript. You have only completed 9 courses over the summer. Have you checked your degree evaluation sheet from your academic advisor? It has this on it:

and minor requirements.

Is that section filled up?
