I know the local law school where I am near has had numerous suicides in recent years. I think a professor as well. I have also noticed a high prevalence between those who have attended law school and alcoholism.

The pressure to succeed can be immense, and many students feel like they are constantly falling behind. This can lead to feelings of worthlessness and despair. Additionally, the legal profession can be notoriously cut-throat, and many students feel like they are constantly under attack.
