Hey!
Been gone a little.
I am digging now, does anybody know (if) which courses at Study.com transfer into TESU or COSC as upper level credit?
These transfer lists show 200 / 300 level on the right side, but does this, for sure, transfer in?
Thomas Edison State University
Charter Oak State College
My grand DSST plan is falling through so I am looking at other ways to cut my credit deficit.
Thanks!

Anything at 300 or 400 on that list for TESU's chart will transfer in as UL.
COSC is different. From what I understand, even if COSC gives it a 300/400 course code, it only counts as UL if ACE recommended it as UL. So some courses on COSC's table showing 300/400 are actually LL. You'd have to check ACE to see their actual credit level. Presumably the opposite might be true, COSC may have something coming in at 100/200 level that ACE actually recommends as UL, but that's not as likely of course.

Yes, this list is current, and verified by TESU. Study.com is working on getting the 10 new courses from 7/1 reviewed by TESU as well. Hopefully those will get updated on this page soon.

The only two listed as upper level by ACE are these:
Business 312: Advanced Operations Management
English 305: Advanced Technical Writing
you could call and ask Charter Oak about it, since they don't list either one in the transfer list.
COSC accepts some UExcels and TECEPs for upper level credit, if you just aren't a fan of DSSTs.
BA, MA, EdS, MMT, etc.

I have to take off work in order to take a DSST. That particular test center limits how many you can knock out in a day, too.

I believe the transfer equivalency shows the details already. So, as mentioned, any 300-400 should transfer as intended to either COSC or TESU as shown in the two links you mentioned. If you want, you may send an email to study.com and TESU, or even PM the study.com alias in the forum.

To re-clarify, this is only true for TESU, not COSC.

The transfer equivalency page listed is specifically for TESU. Here is COSC's page: Charter Oak State College
I would never presume that just because TESU does something one way means that COSC (or anyone for that matter) will do it the same way. Each school is different and should be treated as such.

In addition to the two Study.com courses listed above, you could try TECEPs, since TECEPs are taken at home with an online proctor.
For the 2016-17 Exam List, Charter Oak lists these TECEPs as upper level:
Business in Society
Strategic Management
Federal Income Taxation
Introduction to News Reporting
Financial Institutions and Markets
Security Analysis and Portfolio Management
Negotiations and Conflict Management
Operations Management
Advertising
Marketing Communications
Sales Management
Abnormal Psychology
Psychology of Women
