This is based on reporting from this forum, and is in no way an endorsement to take these courses without getting pre-approval from TESU. It is also based on ACE/NCCRS recommendations.

FYI I sent an email regarding UL courses for the BALS, this was the response I received. For anyone who was considering the business comm courses, 4 of them are acceptable and do not overlap. Some of these may be worthwhile as 3 of them only require 1 assignemt vs. 2 or even 3 for many of the other courses.
Thank you for the inquiry. See below for course equivalencies for the eligible courses you listed. BUS302, 304, 307 cannot go towards the AOS for BALS, but the ones below can.
Business 305: Leadership Communication >> MAN-376
Business 313: Organizational Communication >> COM-391
Business 323: Organizational Theory >> PSY-360
Business 324: Managerial Communication >> MAN-373
History 306: The American Civil War Era >> HIS-450
History 308: Causes and Effects of the Vietnam War >> HIS-351
History 311: The Holocaust & World War II >>HIS-354
Psychology 301: Industrial/Organizational Psychology >> PSY-401
Psychology 310: Psychology of Personality >> PSY-352
Psychology 312: History and Systems of Psychology >> PSY-400
Criminal Justice 305: The Juvenile Justice System >> AOJ-364
Sociology 305: Sociology of Work >> SOC-362
English 305: Advanced Technical Writing >> ENG-306

CJ 305: The Juvenile Justice System
PSY 312: History & Systems of Psychology
BUS 303: Management Info Systems
For what it's worth, some of these have equivalencies listed on Study.com's TESU transfer page. Probably not as reliable as what's been reported here, but worth looking at. I've listed them below, for reference:
BUS 318: Management Ethics >> PHI-400
SOC 305: Sociology of Work >> SOC-362
CJ 305: The Juvenile Justice System >> AOJ-364
PSY 312: History & Systems of Psychology >> PSY-400
BUS 303: Management Info Systems >> CIS-301
On another note, we should keep a database somewhere of what's come in as what and when. Would be a very helpful resource.

Yes, they have the equivalencies listed on Study.com, but it seems like others have inquired in the past about certain courses, and they did not come in with TESU to what was listed on Study.com.
This is why I emailed just to make sure I know what they come in as, and to have a record before I start any courses.
It doesn't seem like anyone on here has taken any of of the business comm courses for a BALS. They could be beneficial in terms of overlapping content and less assignments to complete.

1) This was posted prior to the equivalencies being posted on Study.com's TESU transfer page.
2) I have a spreadsheet, but I'm not willing to post it anywhere, as it changes on a regular basis. Maybe weekly.

Really wish I started this a year ago. Reading old threads people were able to use the current LL courses as UL back then....
Having to do multiple assignments for 5 courses is tough, especially trying to complete at least 2 a month with the $199 price tag.
