Has anyone transferred either of these couses in to tesu? Did either come in as upper level? I know they're new and I couldnt find any info via the search function. Just got a promotion which puts me firmly in a marketing position and I would like to have another marketing course under my belt with the guardian scholarship.

Just got word back from TESU, they do not accept MAR 302. Just asked them about 306 and 308 and will update when I get a response.
They do not accept marketing 302, 306, or 308.
According to the advisor that I spoke with, the only courses they accept now are the ones listed on the study.com transfer page:
https://study.com/directory/school/Thoma...ransferTab
I'm beginning to think TESU is going to phase itself out of being the most popular school on here.
At this point, I'm just glad that I'll be done after this semester. My wife will be going elsewhere.

I wouldn't believe the advisor.

The only ones they will confirm in advance are the ones they have an official transfer agreement. They do and will take the other study.com ACE & NCCRS courses - the UL vs LL tend to be that a course is approved as UL by either NCCRS or ACE (not necessarily by both as UL)
Amberton - MSHRB
TESU - ASNSM/BSBA

I wouldn't bother asking advising about courses that don't appear on the transfer agreement. Or at least taking anything they say with "a grain of salt." It seems clear that they don't really spend a lot of time getting to understand the transfer process outside of what is on an established transfer agreement. I'm sure they're much more focused on helping students find TESU courses that meet their degree requirements.
As a general rule, TESU will accept any ACE or NCCRS recommended course for credit unless it is considered developmental. There are some exceptions but they're pretty rare. The big issue is more about understanding what they will be evaluated as and where it can fit into a degree plan. Which is where folks on this board can often be more helpful since we tend to pay attention to how courses get evaluated and keep lists of previous evaluations when people post their credit evaluation results for new courses.

Got it, thank you! I'm nervous about what it'll come in as since everything else is essentially done so I'll probably stick with the HR course (I need it to be recognized as UL and not a duplicate)
