One of the things online experiences tend to lack are classmate interactions and support groups. While this forum has been helpful it is slow in response when time is of importance. Is there a resource for classes questions or feed back?
I know there are advisors available, but with my past experiences at different schools and programs I don't have the highest confidence that response times will be snappy. With study groups or chat groups things seem to be a little more responsive - though I am not sure UMPI allows you to share a paper with classmates for feed back, I did have one prior program that restricted that type of activity.

No there is not a study group or class team. You may be the only one actively taking a class. There may be 10 people who complete it in a session but not at the same time you're taking the class. There are social media accounts on Facebook and Discord for UMPI. You do have to be careful sharing papers because of the academic honesty code that we all agreed to. You also can't copy the exams. That is stated on the exam. If you need help you can always contact your professor. That's what they're there for. They are actual professors at UMPI and UMFK.

I've used D2L Brightspace in the past (even created a course under the Creator+ platform at SSC). The schools I attended allowed us to use the D2L Instant Messaging system and Board to post questions, get draft feed back, interact with students, etc. Some of us used it like @KSoul seemed to do offline with his sister to compare grades and class experiences. Maybe that's what the discord is like (I haven't gone through it).

YourPace is moving to Brightspace in the future. What options they will have open to students remains to be seen. Like I said previously, there may not be others taking a course at the same time. That happened with many of my classes. It's not a big school. There are a couple hundred students total in YourPace. Discord is completely outside the learning platform. There you'll get responses like you do on here and on the Facebook group - from students who have completed the courses in the past and occasionally someone currently enrolled.
