Im new to page after lurking and reading for a while. Currently active duty Air Force (13 years) stationed in Germany. I'm finally ready to start college again and become a contributing member to this online community. What you all have created here is a wonderful source for those seeking CLEP, DANTES, and online college information...Thank you!

Now what am I here for. As stated above I'm ready to get serious about getting my degree while the military will still pay for it. I'm looking to attend Thomas Edison but I'm undecided on what degree program to take. Honestly I'm looking for the fastest. Reason I dont have a lot time like most of us and I just want to get it behind me. The programs that have my interest at the moment are Social Science, General Management, and Organizational Leadership. Additionally, concerning the military credits would they be considered general elective credits? Thanks in advance for your help its greatly appreciated.

Welcome onboard! Smile

I'd let bricabrac or Sanantone work out a degree plan for you... :p Generally, though, if you're looking for speed, then the BA Social Science or BSBA General Management from TESC would be the quickest ones. The BSOL would require a few TESC courses. With the BA, you'd only need to take the Capstone as a TESC course, the rest of the credits can be transferred in or completed as TECEPs.

I believe the only gen eds your missing for Charter Oak are Science (7 credits) and 3 credits in Global Understanding. That would leave only 30 UL credits plus whatever electives you would be missing. They won't take as many exams for UL credit at TESC....that may be a deal breaker.

I finished my degree with COSC using cheap self paced courses through CSU-Pueblo, particularly attractive if your using PELL Grant or other assistance that won't cover exams.
MBA, Western Governors University February 2014
BS Charter Oak State College November 2011
AS in EMS August 2010

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this).  Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Hello, Since you are in the military, I would gather the PPC tuition plan is not as important as ease/interest/quickest results. Hope I understood and applied all existing credits. Good luck!
