so i have heard that straighterline now requires proctoring, is there any way to have something proctored online so without going to a college?

		Yes, PROCTORU.COM via web cam and mic. My question is with Straighterline you have to give 72 hour notice for proctoring or you will be charged a premium. i.e. if your subscription bills on the 14th and you register for a course on the 12th, the earliest you can complete the course w/proctor final w/o charge is the 15th! 		Isn't the proctoring optional if your college doesn't require it?  I thought that was one of the things they said when they were creating the new system, but I've not heard anything lately.

		That's the way it worked before. They started requiring proctoring regardless back in November. However, I think a couple of the writing courses don't have tests, therefore, no proctoring.

		They basically increased the price of all courses from $39 to $49 to cover the proctoring. Even the courses that don't require it.
