How do they proctor the exams? Do they watch you the entire time your taking the test? How do they know if your cheating?
Yes, you'll be on webcam. Proctor U is the third party proctoring service they use. Your computer will be on (under?) a lockdown browser during your exam. https://www.proctoru.com/students/

ProctorU will easily catch you cheating, either way you shouldn't be cheating. The only thing you are cheating is yourself.
To more of the post I agree so far my SL experience has been more about how quickly I can look up the answers in the e-book. So far I have finished 2 course from them pretty quickly.
First Course was Financial Accounting (Intermediate Accounting I if sending it to TESU) - I already have a very good footing in this topic, didn't use the book, didn't google, just answered everything myself. I got a final score of 80%. Now I could have probably done around a 90% but I walked into the final with a 71% so I just wanted it done and finished the whole final in about 20-25minutes.
Second Course was Intro to Religion - This course is a legit look it up in the book course. You can read the book then go take the graded exams, your still going to go back and look it up in the book. Maybe it is just my experience with the material but it was extremely hard to commit what I was reading to memory. I could remember some small things like who founded a religion and a few terms but overall I had to go back and search the e-book about 90% of the time. However, I had 100% on all graded exams and midterm and went into the final with a 75% in the course. I DID NOT go the same route as the previous course because it does actually give a percentage on your SL transcript (doesn't matter to schools as long as its 70%+, but it does matter to me) so I actually did well enough to push to a 92% for the course.
Third course is Managerial Accounting (Cost Accounting if sending to TESU) - So far one test in and going to start the second one once I am done on the forum. Found 2 errors on the first graded exam and waiting to hear if they fixed them. I got 3 questions wrong on the first test but 2 of the 3 are actually correct. I double checked my answers after the test and I am correct, hopefully they fix those at least for future takers. Not sure why this course only has 700points available pre final when the previous two had 800 and 750 available before the final. I wont be going into this one with a Pass already so I will definitely be preparing a lot better for the final on this one. Easy math on this one I need to double check but it seems like for each question I miss on the pre Final exams I need to get right on the final. So first test I missed 3 questions, so right now I need at least 3 questions correct on the final.

While I do not 'shop' around much I can say of Davar, SL, and Aleks, I much prefer SL. With exception of Biology (not a Mcgraw course as other SL courses), I have enjoyed all of them. I try my best to achieve a great score going into the final to reduce the pressure. Often times I am over 70% going in, my target is always 100%. Sitting around a 92% with my listed courses below.
