Well I just took the final quiz and sent in my final writing assignment for "review" a few minutes ago. As of right now I have a 79 in the class and provided I get at least 3 out of 21 pts on my final assignment, I will finish this class with a B (if it was a letter grade). I did great on the quizzes, the writing assignments were not as good. My highest score was 18.75. I am so happy to almost be done with this class I can hardly stand it. Now on to finish English Comp II, Chemistry and Macroeconomics.

Thank you for the feedback. DS is currently in the non-credit SL English class and wants to do this next. How would you rate the difficulty level?

The tests are easy, the downside is the essays. I only use the draft submission for spelling and grammer, its a waste of time to make alot of changes because you will not have the same tutor twice. If you can get thru the tests and score moderately well (out of a total of 21) on the first few essays, its worth it. My essays, lowest was 13 and highest 18.75, mostly fell in the 15 range. Pretty easy topics also. Plus if you have a monthly subscription and a handy dandy discount code, the course costs less than $30 if you can finish in a month. Its taken me about 3 weeks.

DS won't finish in a month. English just has never been a strong point with him. I've tried my best to teach him (took him out of high school to homeschool after years of struggling) and he's used books, but he has ADHD (Type 1 inattentive) and for some reason does really well with computer-based learning. He's really enjoying SL and even though he can't spend 5 minutes in a textbook, he can spend an hour on SL. So I just want to make sure that it will be challenging, but not impossible. So far he's finding the basic English class to be very easy.
