I needed to send a course extension form and fee to TESC before end of term May 31. I sent it on May 29 $20 Express Mail from my post office, Charlotte, NC to addressee, 101 W. State St Trenton, NJ. It got to Trenton before noon on May 30 and there it sat awaiting TESC's pickup until the next morning May 31 even though I paid for delivery to addressee. Apparently, the Post Office has arrangements with many large mail recipient institutions like TESC that the PO will just deliver to their special box for their pickup as though they took it to them!
Lesson Learned! Do not use US Postal Service if you want your Express Mail delivered ASAP directly to a recipient. Use FEDEX
