Does anyone know anything about Stephens College in Columbia MO? I'm considering them for a Post-Bacc Certificate and so far they are beating out WGU, but I'm wondering if anyone knows anything about them. Thanks in advance for any feedback.

Is it legal for a school to discriminate based on sex?
BSBA CIS from TESC, BA Natural Science/Math from TESC

Hi Marianne,

I don't know a thing about Stephens......but I'm curious what your looking for (you always have interesting ideas Smile ) I have been considering a Masters program, but would love to find a post bsc certificate that would transfer to a masters program, Colorado Global Campus and APU have something along those lines.

What are you looking to study?

If the school is completely private, meaning they don't get any federal financial assistance whatsoever, then yes most of the time it's completely legal. I guess a guy could always try and enroll, get turned down, then sue and possibly win but the odds are decidedly on the side of the private institution.
