I know what you mean! I was in on that webinar as well. That first question she posed to us I couldn't figure out for the life of me what "copetive" meant. Finally figured out it was "competitive." Lol! That was my first webinar too.

lmao yes. I was thinking how the heck have I never heard this word before.... I wonder if she just talks about herself every webinar? Since some people in that one were on their 3rd, I wonder if they'd heard everything she had talked about already.

I think if you look at as a "pass is a pass" then it is worth it. I'm definitely glad I have my three credits! Though I think I deserved a better grade. I finished the course within four weeks and knew I would pass it, just not to what degree. Just know going in what kind of person you are dealing with and you will be okay. I unfortunately was one of the first group of students to get this instructor. I kept hearing all of the good reviews with the previous instructor, Nicki.

Not to resurrect this thread but I wanted to finish out this story so that others here know what to expect and be prepared. My wife finished the class and got an A on the paper, I was shocked personally, as someone else had commented I thought it was an A paper but expected a C. So maybe her grading is more bark than bit at this time. If others would give grade feedback it would probably be good for people to judge their work.
That said, when she tried to transfer the credit to ACE it was denied. She called and found out that they had never charged the CC. Not that big of a deal to fix but still frustrating as to how something so simple gets dropped. Upon goggling you can see that this is a common problem.
So, to recap.
A. Don't follow the instructions on,well... the instructions. Follow her instruction in the webinar.
B. Don't get sloppy with the paper, follow full APA format and cite with page numbers.
C. Make sure they billed the CC when you start the class, check your statement.
D. Ignore her slighting, after all, she is just a penn foster adjunct. Actually, ignore any professor's slighting, it's their own insecurity showing through.
Overall it's still an easy class, just frustrating.
