My friend is doing this class Strategic Management with Penn Foster for transfer to ACE then TESC. The book came fine, online exams went fine, project went fine but they absolutely refuse to send the final exam to the proctor. The proctor is a local college which they said was fine. It's been a MONTH! He keeps calling and getting the run around ... call this person call that person yes we'll send it out but it never gets sent out. He can't figure out what's going on and neither can I. If anyone has any advice let me know so I can help him out, otherwise I'm here to warn others to stay away from Penn Foster. You pay that money and do all that work only to have them drag their heels on the protored exam. It sucks.

PF is a horrible school. Many years ago I sent for info. Somehow according to them I registered. They sent me books that I asked for them to take back. Long story short, they put it on my credit report and now I still fight this on my credit.

Hate to state the obvious, but THERE IS NO FINAL PROCTORED EXAM for Strategic Management. You do the online multiple
choice exams, send in your SWOT analysis, and do three webinars. That's it. Done. Total time, about three weeks.
My wife completed hers a month ago and it was the same setup for me last year. This is current and accurate information.

Oh my. Mr. Bluk saves the day, kinda.
To salve that abrasion a bit, all PF courses link the proctor forms and will pop up that message about halfway through stating you need to get a proctor approved. Not all courses actually require one, though. It's laziness on their part not to make those messages situational by course requirement, and PF reps should have been able to pull that information up during the various telephone calls. Their service and support is atrocious...but can't beat the price and speed of course completion. It is likely mentioned somewhere in the initial syllabus, though. If your friend takes any other PF courses, tell them to read the syllabus carefully to determine if they need to submit or ignore the proctor forms and email.
Have your friend complete the last requirements without the proctor. All will be well.
