Statistics or bust!

I'm planning on taking the DSST Stats test this Friday, August 20, and wanted to know if that'll be enough time to study for this exam. I am currently enrolled in my local community college to take this class, but I'd rather test out of it and save my financial aid money for when I really need it.

Any advice anyone? I just finished going through the IC flashcards right now and have viewed at least 8 Khan Academy videos. I still feel pretty shaky about the whole PROBABILITY section. It doesn't matter how much I practice it. I just don't the difference between Classical, Empirical, and Subjective variations.

Please help!

You can pay $20 at ALEKS and spend all your free time between now and then studying Statistics, then take the test on Friday. It has an AI engine that will give you a ~25 question assessment at the beginning, determine what you know vs what you need to learn, and teach you step by step. I'm using it now for College Algebra. It is very structured. It's very difficult to learn math from the internet, but much easier when you have the basic structure from the course and then look to the internet for supplemental videos and lectures.

FYI the Big 3 take ALEKS for credit because several of their courses were reviewed by ACE for credit. I just started College Algebra tonight and I'm already at 25%, once I hit 70% (this week I hope) it's 3 credits in the bag and on to trigonometry, which my school accepts for the pre-cal requirement.

I say this in case you've never heard of ALEKS or the Big 3 (Thomas Edison, Charter Oak, and Excelsior) and the huge advantages in time and cost you can get that way.

I believe that it is enough time. I studied for two days and passed. It is doable. I concentrated more on concepts and only remembered the basic formulas. If you used the Khan videos and IC, as I did, you should do well.
