I read the thread about waiting 6-8 weeks for degrees to be conferred at UMPI, but I am wondering if that will delay transferring into a master's program? Has anyone transferred to WGU without delay, or will I be waiting 2 months or more before I can begin?

Have you asked WGU? It would be entirely up to them and shouldn't be a hard one for them to answer.

Not yet, but I will reach out to them. Thanks!

WGU required my transcripts showing proof I have completed a bachelor's degree. They wouldn't allow me to begin my term without that transcript. I just started my master's at WGU this month.

The good thing about WGU is, they have monthly enrollments, unlike some schools, they only have 3 or 4 yearly start dates...

UMPI wouldn't let me start the MAOL while waiting on my UMPI degree conferral, even with all grades posted prior to the session start date. Hopefully it will be done before the next session so I can get started.

Congrats on getting the degree requirements done! Which degree did you complete? Did you take the three of four undergrad courses for transfer into the MAOL?

When I applied to WGU for my master's, I had to submit transcripts showing that my bachelor's degree had been conferred. I wasn't admitted until my degree had actually conferred.
