Did he try to bribe you to keep quiet about the harassment of the 1st phone call or to stop giving negative reviews online?

Also, did that 2nd call help you verify for certain that it was the guy from speedyprep?

Finally, I bet that since you are a minor this could be a serious crime on his part.

I actually did not talk to him (my parents wouldn't allow after the first lovely call). He just said the money was restitution in exchange for me not saying anything else about speedyprep.

Yes, I did verify the he is with speedyprep. He is the owner or manager. Can't remember which. Kinda funny, he still introduced himself as Shawn from CollegePlus even though we know he is not with CollegePlus. ryany- I do agree that CollegePlus staff is always very polite. That is partially why I was so shocked at Shawn's behavior after claiming to work for them.

Really the guy had to do some digging to get my info. I thought rmr was a pretty vague username. I do have it where people can email me, but Yahoo keeps the email address private. I thought I was being pretty safe. I never mention my name or anything. But I guess if there's a will, there's a way.
