I've taken both Peterson's and REA practice tests, and there is a HUGE discrepancy between the two. The Peterson's tests are pretty basic, whereas the REA tests are very difficult for anyone who isn't already fluent. My scores have been around 73 (86%) for Peterson's, but only around 50 (43%) for REA. Does anyone know which one of these practice tests more accurately represents the real Spanish CLEP? I'm hoping to take the test soon in order to qualify for a Peace Corps position, so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

I took a Peterson's practice exam for the Spanish CLEP and I admit it seemed very easy. After minimal study, I managed an 80 (91%). I guess I need to try the REA before I get too confident.
Certainly, any comments from someone who has taken the Spanish CLEP after using Peterson's and/or REA would be great to hear.

I used Peterson's exams while preparing for the Spanish CLEP and always scored 90% or above. I just took the actual CLEP today and scored a 70 - which was considerably less than my Peterson's practice scores. I can't comment on REA, but my experience is that the CLEP is definitely harder than Petersons. At the same time, if you're scoring 86% on Peterson's, you'll probably do fine.
PC requires a CLEP score above 62?
