That's funny, I'm actually doing the exact same thing. I am going for my degree in Health Care Management with SIU in Bethesda. Are you a corpsman?

I completed a degree in EST with SIU out of Cherry point. I also took one class with HCM students at Bethesda two years ago - HCM 385. I needed EST 385, but I was in Maryland and they let me take HCM 385 (similar theme, different application) and transfer it in. Tony Ashby was the professor. It was pretty cool to be the only EST student and jarhead in a HCM class surrounded by Corpsmen. They treated me well. though. Good luck!

SIU is Southern Illinois University out of Carbondale, IL. SIU offers several off-campus degree programs to military and civilian students throughout the country. The delivery is face to face on weekends with the professors flying out from the main campus, however, you only take the courses required for the major in this format. All of the general education requirements must be transferred in from any regionally accredited school. Those classes could be online, in person, CLEPs, DSSTs, etc. So long as they are accepted by SIU, they're fine. Here's their website for more info:
