You'll get there.  I have been flying for a living for 30 years.  I've been through two furloughs due to the Gulf War, and the 2008 housing crisis.  It's an ebb and flow.  Since you're on these forums, I take it you are getting your degree first.  Smart move!  The degree is the number 1 discriminator for the major airlines.  Good luck!
