This way you will be free to do all other courses without worrying about any time waiting for Touchstones. Finish as many courses as you can before 31 July. Then enroll in English Com 1+2.
Agree, it takes me 32 days to finish English Composition 1, of course i am slower because i am not native english speaker, but considering the time it takes to take the course itself, write the assesments, and wait for them to be graded, these are courses that need more time that others.
Assesment number 4 needs assesment number 3 graded in order to being able to send it.
What about Public speaking it has several touchstones also is to late to start this course, maybe later when Sophia give a discount I will take it it to expensive if you have to purchase the course later, rather than taking it from another source.
In progress:
TESU - ASNSM ASBA, UNIR- Master Cyber Security
Completed:
TESU - BA Computer Science

Public speaking is cheaper and easier to take at SDC rather than Sophia, at least if you're going to TESU. Presentation Skills in the Workplace comes in as COM-290 at TESU and goes into the oral communication slot where Public Speaking from Sophia would go. It has no assignments, only the standard SDC quizzes and the final exam. Personally, I would skip Public Speaking at Sophia unless you're especially strapped for money and/or you've completed everything else from them.

None of them do, unfortunately. You can get that one for $20 by taking the American Government offering from InstaCert. There are a couple of options elsewhere, but InstaCert is probably the cheapest.

I don't know if those would satisfy the requirement. They might. I don't think they do but my main concern would be that a lot of people report that Saylor exams don't always align with the material.

Maybe this one from ASU? It's listed as a civic engagement course.

It's not been transferred into TESU before so there's no equivalency on https://www.tesu.edu/admissions/transfer-credit It might work, it might not.
Plus, it's $425 and not $99. At that price, I'd just go with SDC's Political Science 102: American Government.

As of yesterday at least, Sophia now allows you to "try" a course before you commit to taking it. If you're not sure you want to attempt a course in the time left, this is great! It lets you download all the PDFs and I think you're allowed to work on the first unit as well. You can "try" a course whether or not you've hit the 2 courses already. So if you're taking a break before taking the final milestone, this lets you preview and choose what to take next.

That try feature is sweet. I tried all the courses just for fun and got all the pdf's.
U.S. History 2 is a lot easier than U.S. history 1 so I'm surprised more people haven't taken U.S. history 2. U.S. History 1 isn't hard, but just lots of multiple selection answers which takes extra time.
Human Biology not too hard if you took biology in high school. Does have some complex topics in it.
Conflict Resolution that course just pisses me off. Hated that one the most, just my personal beef.
Math courses seem a lot easier than doing Clep/DSST. I had no problems with them.
