Current rumor on the internet has it that on August 01, 2020 Sophia.org will change to a $79 month or $149 annual subscription service - 2 courses active at a time limit applies. If this is true, and it does seem like it is, it means Sophia has gone from one of the most expensive options for ACE credit to one of the cheapest - while keeping their high quality courses & support - Well Done~!

For that price I will take several more courses! At $329 a course, I'm not taking a single course through them. Where did you see this info?

Sophia is very expensive compare to all other alternative source of credits. But if this rumor is true I will take that chance for sure.

Pretty nice offer.
For me it is amazing, but i done every course that i can use for my degree, if they include new courses this could be so good.
Let's wait for one more day to know if it is true
BSBA: 70% completed (84 credits of 120)

I'll only have Public Speaking left after I finish the courses I have chosen to take in August. I don't really need Public Speaking, but I would definitely be interested in taking it if it's only $79, simply to pay back Sophia for all the free courses.

I think it's true, after 150 thousand students signed up for the free courses, they're going to offer the first year for $149 and after that, it'll be $79/month. That's how I am reading it.... amazing deal still: https://www.fool.com/earnings/call-trans...-call.aspx

150k is a lot of students! I wonder how many they normally have taking their courses. Especially the ones with touchstones.

That is very impressive. Even if only 10% end up finishing a degree that is 15,000 more college graduates. That's quite a community service.
So $79 per month is the normal price but anyone who took a free course can get a year for $149. Absolutely amazing. That's about 36 credits for most degrees at TESU.
