How long does it take to get through Sophiaâs Intro to Ethics course? I took the free Team Building and that went quick. However, that was for 1 credit and seemed geared toward getting you to sign up. I already have the free ethics, which duplicated an ethics course that I have from a university. Since I am using those credits to satisfy an upper level category, my ethics requirement is still vacant. I have a few other ideas but wanted to see if anyone has taken the Sophia course.

ANY ethics course would do. The cheapest one would be from Saylor at $25, but may duplicate the free ethics
If you have a study.com or straighterline subscription, their ethics course should duplicate the free ethics course.
I was curious, why did you move the free ethics to satisfy an UL category when it's 2 credits? you'll be missing 1
I would rather use it for the ethics requirement and take a cheaper course from free electives or gen ed electives

The free ethics course is going in the trash. I happened to be taking Business Ethics (3 hrs) when I discovered the free course (2 hrs). I only took the free course for sport and to see if it would transfer in differently than the class that I was already taking. I may take the DSST History of the Soviet Union to cover another UL course and bump my existing 3hr ethics course into the ethics requirement. Most of the ethics courses transfer in the same and would only duplicate. Sophia and DSST Ethics in America are the only two that I have found that would not duplicate. If I'm going to fool with another DSST, I would rather it involve a more interesting subject.

I wouldn't use the free 2cr Ethics course in my AOS unless you had another 1cr to make up for it. It's just too difficult to find that other credit. Instead, I would use it in the Ethics area, and find another UL course instead. There are plenty.
FYI - the Sophia Ethics course will probably come in as a LL PHI-2XX course. The other ethics courses do, unless they are UL or business-related. The free Ethics course comes in as PHI-384 Business Ethics, so an intro to Ethics course will not duplicate it.
