So I was considering taking a few single classes at COSC to transfer in to TESC BS HSEP since it looks like a few classes from their Public Safety Administration will transfer over and are only 5 weeks instead of TESC's 12. Has anyone had any experience taking single courses with COSC? I've searched their catalog and can't find any information.

I didn't attend COSCO, but I found this under their
FAQs:
1. Do I need to be matriculated (enrolled) at Charter Oak State College to take a distance learning course?
No, anyone can take a course at Charter Oak State College. If you are taking a course to transfer to another institution, you should check with that institution to make sure that the course fits into your program of study.
11. How do I register for a course?
Registration is easy, and can be completed through the Course Search page. For detailed information on registering, please see How to Register.
Depending upon how many courses you need to take through COSC to transfer, you might just consider doing this:
Charter Oak State College - Public Safety Administration Certificates
BA in History, TESC, Graduated September 2010
MA in History, American Public University, currently pursuing
Virginia teaching license, currently pursuing

In addition to what IrishJohn posted I would say just call the school. I matriculated in July to COSC and had to delay the start of my Cornerstone. They worked with me on that and registered me for the next start date without any problem. When the second start date came I was on storm duty and did not have undisturbed access to a computer. A quick email solved that and I was told not to worry because they modified the turn-in dates. COSC really does a good job at answering the phone and then answering questions. They are also very helpful in accommodating students.
