#1
Your Location: Texas
Your Age: 46

What kind of degree do you want? Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration

Any certifications or military experience?
Certified Medical Assistant through NAHP

Budget: SNHU is very expensive for me. Guild not paying full tuition as my Fafsa is still covering expenses

i am thinking of possibly transferring to WGU or more attractive inexpensive accelerated program

I thought most employers in the Guild program pay at least $5,000 per year. If you split up your credits between two different years, it should be free. I don't see WGU on the Guild program. Are they going to pay for WGU?

If you transfer in max credits, then you only have to take 10 courses at SNHU.

You could try to map out WGU to a spreadsheet and see if it is cheaper.

WGU business degree plan

Keep in mind, once you start WGU, you can't transfer anything in so you should max transfer credits before starting.

@dlachance1977, Welcome to the board, that's a good initial post, but you're cherry picking selective info on the addendum and template, without much more details than that, it's really going to be hard to actually provide you concrete advice. But by looking at your screenshot, you should actually 'finish' at SNHU. It shows 30 residency credits, you can transfer in the rest using ACE! Voila, all the cheap, easy, fast alternative credit you can bring in will do the job!

It might be cheaper to finish up at SNHU.  It looks like OP has taken 6 courses with SNHU so far. (some courses may be pending completion)

That's correct, 30 credits residency, you've got 18 completed, make sure all your 12 remaining credits go towards the degree and can't be completed through transfer, use those for residency. For the classes that can be transferred in, grab them from the usual Sophia.org and Study.com combo, or whatever is recommended on the WIKI for the degree of choice.

What's your goal with healthcare admin? The degree itself doesn't open a ton of doors and it sort of pigeon holes you.
