Foothill and De Anza have a good price for 6 credits or less. But they are on the quarter system, and most classes are 4-5 credits, so you can't get 3 SH in a semester. If I could get 3 SH, I would take 1 class/semester.
Does anyone know of other schools that have an offer like this for out-of-state?
There was one in NM (CNM) that had cheap summer classes for out-of-state students, and they got rid of the deal.

Aren't 5 credits equal to a little over 3 SH? So those classes would be ok.
I'm just worried about dealing with too many transcripts, also there's probably the cost of the books...

Yeah, someday I would grumble about the extra transcript or two, but I don't think I will send transcripts that often. I don't think I'll be applying to more than 1 grad school in a year, and not many times.
I look up the books before I pick the classes, but I find that a lot are under $50 if you get a used copy or rent.

Oh I see. I was getting confused with the 4 quarter hour classes then. Thanks!
A lot more are 4 credit than 5 credit, but I have a few options.
