Has anyone applied for a scholarship through TESU? I just submitted a request for their Special Scholarship Award Fund. I had originally set the goal to graduate in December, but my wife got COVID back in April, and we’ve been a 1 income household ever since. I figure I could get together the other fees if I could just get help affording the two required courses for the BSBA. I saw that there was a way to apply for it, and I gave it a shot. I’m really hoping it might go somewhere. Any advice on what to expect or not expect?
TESU BSBA Gen Mgmt - In progress

Sophia - 35 credits
Study.com - 21 credits
TEEX - 6 credits
East MS CC, Jackson State CC, Univ of TN at Martin, Olivet Nazarene, TESU - 27 credits
Goal: teaching cert, state of GA

What scholarship are we talking about and where do we sign up?
Where do you see the requirements for each of the scholarships?
Goals: TESU BSBA GM (Added CIS) and BA Computer Science
BSBA GM - Added CIS AOS (CIS & GM completed)
BACS & Grad Plans (BACS instead of BALS w/NSM)
AAS ACS & ESST: Remaining - Associate Capstone
ASNSM CS: Completed, ASNSM Math: Remaining - Calculus I
Taking a majority of credits at Sophia.org, SL, and Study.com to finish these degrees
Updating my courses remaining by following forum advice, guide, spreadsheet & wiki

Here is the link to their scholarship page:
https://www.tesu.edu/tuition/scholarships
It goes over the scholarships offered, general requirements, and what the funds can be used for.
Still very vague on what exactly they are looking for.
Yesterday they emailed their decision:
Dear Jeremy,
The Thomas Edison State University Scholarship Committee would like to take this opportunity to thank you for submitting your application for an emergency aid scholarship.
We understand you are in a unique situation due to the COVID-19 pandemic, unforunately most of our students are in similar situations. Due to the sheer number of requests we’ve received, and the limited funds we’re able to award, we regret to inform you that you were not selected as a recipient at this time.
Sincerely,

For those at TESU: Just wondering, did you get an email from TESU about financial aid? And the amount they gave you for Aid? Strange, I received one email and they mentioned they provided aid for the entire course for me... but I was charged a portion of the course. I was curious if you got something like that as well.
