Scheduling tests in Georgia
#1
I'm having a bit of a problem scheduling exams here in GA. I've got 2 tests scheduled for October, but as I am currently unemployed full-time, would like to schedule more to make good use of my time. Here are the problems:

1. MOST of the info on the testing centers here in GA is incorrect. At the 5 centers I've contacted so far got both CLEP and DANTES, the phone numbers provided have been wrong. Minor problem, since with Google almost anything can be found, but still annoying.

2. The two exams I have scheduled (1 CLEP, 1 DSST) are on the ONLY two days in the month this particular testing center is offering the exams. The other centers I have contacted have either:
a. not returned my phone calls
b. told me "we just started and don't know how to schedule people. We'll call you later."
c. told me "I know we're advertising that we do the exams, but we don't actually do them at this time."

<Insert grinding of teeth here>

I've prepped for and repeatedly passed 5 different practice exams, and want to get them done!

Are any of you folks in Georgia, and does anyone have reliable info on where I can go to easily and readily schedule either or both DSST and CLEP exams? Preferably in the greater Atlanta or Macon areas, but I'll take anything at this point. Thanks!

The folks at the Dunwoody Campus of Georgia Perimeter College were really easy to work with when I was testing.

Check out Georgia State University, they have a very good setup. I have taken about 12 exams with them since 2005. They offer both clep and dsst exams. If you need more info send me a pm.
