BTW, for anyone in the future who wants to know, I just checked my paid account which was set to expire on 3/21 and it definitely expired at midnight on 3/20. I did a check yesterday and today just to make sure. So if anyone is up against a deadline to test, just go ahead and try to get it done the day before. It makes sense because if it had gone through today I would have had two more exams unlock this morning (which thankfully I don't need!).

Also, you can get those courses added to ACE as soon as you test and those will go through even if the subscription has expired.
