Saylor Proctoring $5 for all classes now!
#1
Hmm, I read the thread in regards to Saylor doing a trial proctoring for $5 with a limited set of courses, but I just looked at their website and it shows the pricing for the exams at $5 each now!  That's great for people going for a TESU BSBA GM as there are TWO UL Management courses for $5 each, if you couple that with two Davar courses at $129, that's the GM AOS right there!

There are still issues to work out with the proctor. It's smoother than ProctorU but not as good as RPNow.

I've not used the new proctoring service before, just RPNow and ProctorU for my Study.com and TECEPS/StraighterLine... It'll be fun to try using this as another service, I'll give it a try with the UL courses they provide, for the knowledge in the subject and to test out that new proctoring system of their partners...

What are the two UL classes that may be used towards the TESU BSBA GM?
MTAW Certified Municipal Treasurer - Wisconsin
IAAP Certified Administrative Professional
Administrative Professional Associate Degree - Madison College

Saylor's UL courses may or may not transfer to TESU. You can see the list of what TESU has told Saylor that they'll accept here: https://www.saylor.org/partners/credit/t...r-partner/ The problem is that this page hasn't been updated in a really long time. Saylor has added a few credit-bearing classes since this page was last updated. It's possible that TESU will accept them, similar to how Sophia's page about TESU acceptance was extremely and wildly out of date before being pulled completely. Sophia's page is back again ( https://tesu.sophia.org/#courses ) but it's still out of date when compared to what students have reported as transfers. At just $5/each, it may well be worth attempting a few Saylor exams just to see if they DO transfer.

Saylor's full list of current ACE-recommended courses can be seen here: https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...Active%22)

Of these, Operations Management is listed as UL: https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...0d3a378a3a

So is Principles of Finance: https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...0d3a33232a

Project Management: https://www.acenet.edu/National-Guide/Pa...0d3a378a3a

But, also remember that even if TESU does accept these, there is no guarantee that they will be accepted as UL. If you do try one/all of these, let us know the results!

I submitted my ACE transcript containing Project Management, so I'll post an update when that's evaluated. I did have an advisor pre-plan Saylor's Operations Management as upper-level.
