Can anyone explain to me why the ebook prints terribly? This is a tech issue, I get it but it's a real problem for me here.
I've even tried to convert to PDF, same issue. It's so over to the right that it cuts off half of the right column of text. Not really helpful for reading.
Anyone had this problem before?

Instead of printing onto your printer paper, or converting to a PDF, have you tried printing directly to a PDF (instead of converting?)
Do you have adobe installed or an alternative such as cutepdf (doesn't really matter which one), try printing directly to PDF...

FINALLY figured it out in page setup by selecting a print to fit - totally different screen. Still, every third page is blank with a small warning not to reproduce materials (like I need that to print every 3rd page).
Ugh! FRUSTRATING!!!
But thank you!

I'm not sure if this helps - or if your book is large enough to make this worth while - but I sent my book files to staples via print.me and had it bound for under $40 each... its super valuable to me since i literally HATE sitting at work on the computer all day then trying to study on the computer all night. I've rented other books for $22 and now I can "donate" the hard copy to my friend who is going to take the same subject next month.
I've never had an issue with reproduction rights at staples...or UPS store...or office max but I've actually never seen ant reproduction advisories (because ive never ever looked, and maybe they dont either)

I hate sitting at the computer and prefer print textbooks, however, even used some are not super cheap. My compromise has been with using an 11" tablet with a removeable keyboard instead to view SL e-textbooks. Works great so far.

The most expensive text I bought for SL was Communications - it was $12.
