Saylor—which courses worth taking?

That's interesting.

How do you push the start date forward?

At the course page, before registering it.
Right under "You have 60 days from your start date to complete the course. " You see "Start Date: April 27, 2020" and a button "Change".
There you can pick another future date.
When you have registered, and the course hasn't started yet you can reschedule the course start date within your account.

Yup, you can extend the dates to all the courses before the course has started. I've recommended everyone to take everything that doesn't duplicate their current completed courses, everything except the 3 foundations unless they go to Excelsior for example.
