Santander is a bank from Spain that has been offering scholarships for university courses (some courses are offered in English). I have signed up for several scholarships over the years, but never won. I did get to do a free Internet of Things mini course that gave a certificate of achievement once.
There is going to be changes to the website within the next few weeks. That might due to huge public demand and the overall difficulty of winning scholarships. They might soon change their offering to become more like coursera. It would be very nice if this is so. I always felt disheartened to spend hours writing essays and end up never getting selected even once.
So, this is the website in case anyone is interested. They offer a lot of business, computer science, leadership and language scholarships.
