I have the same question, which I'd like to expand somewhat. What is a good place to look to find student feedback? My searches keep turning up web pages owned by the school. I'd like something independent.

Those reviews were from multiple degree programs. They may not even be from online students.

Reddit didn't have anything useful.

I want to hear from students who went there and actually did the program.
These links are just general info.
I scoured the net and couldn't find anything!

That's because Sam Houston State University is not known for history. I think the best you're going to get are reviews for their online programs, in general, if you can find them. They don't seem to attract a lot of online students.

...

and you think they treat their online students better than they treat their in-person students ?

I never introduced the concept of better. I expect online students to be treated differently for two reasons. First, online and in person education is different. Second, state funded schools in Texas often contract out their online classes to the Academic Partnerships corporation. When that occurs, there will be a markedly different student experience.

Sanatone with the knowledge that you might be in Texas and is Sam Houston State, can you elaborate on what they might be known for? I know someone who received a MS in Information Systems from them so just curious about their reputation.
