SL grading

Just wondering if anyone knows what the grading time for papers in either ENG I or II is. I submitted two papers today and almost instantly they received grades. Both stated 80%, but it seems that one was graded minutes after I turned it in and the other a few hours later. Is this a standard grade that they give and then they go and give an actual grade or is this the actual grade? Either is fine, just curious for calculating my accumulated points so far.

If you've submitted something for DRAFT, that's a temporary grade that you can use as a guide. They'll enter a few recommendation notes into the turnitin grading system.
If it's a FINAL paper you're submitting, then that's going to be the final grade you have in the paper. Sometimes the grades come before the updated notes do, no specific timeframe...
I've seen it done very quickly and some take up to 3 days. All in all, not too bad for SL courses, should be able to finish a course in a weeks time/I shoot for 5 in a month.

Adding to BJ, sometimes grades are fast - like if a grader is working on the spot, but sometimes its slow, like if it's a weekend or holiday and they don't have people working. You can go into your grade by clicking the pen icon next to your points. From there, on the right side of your screen is a split window, the BOTTOM of the window has tabs so you can see details and comments. It's hidden pretty well - I think my sons did about 12 papers before I found it.
