I'm just curious about this. I'm in my sophomore year in my local community college, pursuing an A.S on Civil Engineering, but I'd like to enroll in EC for a Bachelor of Science in Business with concentration in Finance. Can I do this? Can I use my current credits? Do I have to notify in my current college that I'll be enroll in another college?

No you dont have to notify your current college. The only thing that could be a problem is if your college requires you commit to a certain workload due to policy or for financial aid requirements. If you cant do your minimumm, along with the added coursework from the new college, then dont try it, but if you can handle both then it's not illegal or immoral. Just apply at the new college as a transfer and have your current school send a transcript. It's none of their business if you want to do that...just make sure you dont overcommit and fill out your financial aid paperwork correctly if you are using it. I believe they allow you to split it beween colleges.
