I just re-upped my account for the first time in like 5 years. I was able to use the GET50GO code for the sub, but none of the course codes were working, including SLSAVE59 which I got in the mail, SAVE49, or any other code I could find for adding a course.

On top of that SL closed early today so I wasn't able to contact them to get assistance either. Quite annoying that my sub is ticking while I'm waiting for assistance.

I only have two courses I still need to take from SL. Depending on how those go there are a number of other courses I could also choose to take there as an alternative to Study.com or Shmoop. I've been waiting months to take these until there were coupons available, so I'm pretty annoyed that they're not working now. Hopefully, they'll get everything worked out quickly. In the meantime, I still have courses I'm working on at Study.com.

I was able to call in and get everything squared away. Apparently, SLSAVE59 was coded such that it only works when purchasing a sub and a course at the same time. Though that wasn't mentioned anywhere.

So, the advisor I spoke with gave me a new code TRYAGAIN59 (which replaces the RETAKE59 code) that can be used for any new (or retake) course as long as you already have an active sub. That one worked just fine. In my case, it ended up as a $59 discount on the $99 Intro C++ course. It should also be good for anyone else who needs a code for a free $59 course.
