SDC how to see how far you are in other classes
#1
Hi everyone - I'm just about complete with Principles of Management and was wondering, how do I know which class I have the most percent complete based on this class and other classes?

I know I can see how far along this puts me with other classes I'm enrolled in, but what about the others? Does anyone know?

Just need to get my 2 exams in before the 13th when I restart so want to do something quick.

TIA!

*ding ding ding* You can't, only way to see how far you have progressed in a new course is to go into Courses Catalog, select the course you want and view the "Overview". It'll show how far your quizzes have gone... There is no quick way of doing this, I would only enroll if you would need the course for credit.

thanks for the reply!  Ugh, that's annoying.

I've enrolled and unenrolled a bunch of times in SDC courses - nothing has happened that I know of doing this, is that a bad thing??  Big Grin

No no, don't enroll and un-enroll, that's an extra two step process.... you just want to view the course after you sign in, if you have XX% completed, it'll show up telling you how many % of X quizzes are done. I would randomly select courses in the Business section and see how far you have completed or find ones that interest you.

For example, if you did Comp Sci 105: Intro to Operating Systems and you're at 100% for that, then you select the course Comp Sci 305: Operating Systesm, it'll probably show 55 or whatever of XX quizzes done. You do not want to spend that extra two clicks to enroll and then un-enroll...

Nothing bad happens if you enroll or unenroll, nothing good happens either.

There's not any other way to see how far you are in other courses, so I'm not sure why it's annoying?  What would you suggest besides looking at a course?

It would be a great option to list each course (in a list format) with how far you've gotten in each one rather than having to either go into each one or enroll to see that. That's what I was hoping for. I like to see them all and how they pan out so I can choose which one to do next.

They have hundreds of courses, some ACE/NCCRS recommended, some not.  So it would be a mighty long list! And then you wouldn't really know which ones would work in your degree...

I just went through and enrolled in every course I could use for my degree, and then I enrolled in a bunch of courses that sounded really interesting, even if I don't need them for college credit. I like being able to see the progress so clearly especially since there is so much overlap between the business courses. For me it's easier to scroll than to have to click on each individual course.
