I took the SDC Biology final yesterday and I am still shocked, but not in a good way. I completed all Labs and quizzes (100%) on all and took 4 different practice tests. I was surprised to see the number of questions that were not on any practice tests. Not just words mixed up, as I went through the 4 different practice tests, but COMPLETELY different. I only needed to get in the low 50's and past, but wondering if I did something wrong but doing that many practice tests, and therefore the system assigned me a test that had questions that were not covered in any of the practice tests. There were about 20 questions that were pictures of items or scientific notions that you had to identify, that were not in any practice exam. Any one else experience this?

I've not heard of this before, but maybe others simply didn't take notes as detailed as yours.

Was the final at least based on the course materials? I mean was it fully covered in course?

I'm honestly not sure. It may have been... but out of 133 chapter quizzes and 4 practice tests, I would think it should have been included if you are going to include it in the final.

Usually, your final score is within 10% of your practice tests. What did you score on the practice tests?
The practice test draws questions exactly word for word from the quizzes. So after you do multiple practice tests, the questions will repeat. You should learn the concepts not memorize quiz answers.

Why do you say that you needed 50% to pass, don't you need only 10% if you've got 100% on labs and quizzes? I'm taking this course now and I'm also interested to know if anyone else had a similar experience with OP (questions that didn't exist at practice tests/quizzes).

I thought I only needed 10% too! Surprise!
When I went to take the actual exam, it said I needed a 56%. I'm not sure how they score on the site, but the email when I finished said "Congratulations Based on your exam grade of 74 and your essay grade of 100, you have passed this course with a 90 overall. That score is above the 70% average needed for credit."
LevelUp, I'm not looking to major in Biology and I'm looking for speed to get through these courses. I have a fantastic job with benefits, but if I want to move up into the C-Suite, I need to complete my degree.
