Is it possible to just do the straighterline biology lab 1-credit course alone without SL's 3 credit science course, and then use other sources to fulfill the science requirement? Like doing SL biology lab for 1 credit, and then do a study.com biology course or CLEP biology?
Aiming for TESU BSBA-GM, ASNSM in Biology, ASNSM in Computer Science

Yes I believe others have done that.
Also, ed4credit has a 1 credit bio lab for $65 (plus lab kit). Ed4credit occasionally has promo codes well.

Study.com has Bio + lab, and it's the normal $199 for the month; and the labster membership is another $40 (it's a virtual lab).

I do like the value proposition of labster. I hope in the future they develop more material for chemistry, physics and others.
I don't mind doing physical labs but I've now received 2 labkits for chem 1 and physics 1 and they are truly a rip-off. Plus I ended up with a bunch of overlapping materials. Will be ordering my physics 2 lab soon. (Doing all 3 of my labs through TESU btw, which I don't recommend for anyone unless they are using gibill or something).

Yes, but I'd sooner stab myself in the eye than suggest that class. I have a long and boring story, but the short version is that both my sons were using it for their COSC lab and dropped after enormous mountains of busy work and glitchy lab forms - just a big mess. If you need biology specifically, good suggestions in this thread- but if any lab science will do, consider Nutrition from Rio, that's what we are doing.

I think that the Ed4Credit labs are really hard to beat. Here are the syllabus pages for biology and chemistry:

If you look at these pages, you will see that the quizzes related to the labs are worth 900 points while the lab paperwork is worth either 240 points or 310 points. This means that you can pretty much pass the lab before completing any of the lab paperwork. All lab paperwork must be turned in. However, it is very nice to be able to complete the labs/paperwork with the knowledge that you have already passed the class.
