Hey, the administration ("National Security Staff") recently responded to related petitions: Concerns About Russian Legislation That Would Affect Adoptions and Civil Society. Supportive statements from U.S. Ambassador McFaul and from the State Department are cited.

I hope both governments also address these open cases specifically and without delay, and that your family, and the others in this limbo, will be together soon. The thoughts of many are with you.

Any updates on what's going on with the Russian adoption ban Taylor?

Not really... There are a lot of mixed reviews coming out, right now...nothing definite. Lots of uncertainties...I won't go into all the details! We had a conference call, this afternoon. The answer of the day was, "We don't know." There is just not anything concrete, at this time. It is "hurry up and wait." But, the Lord knows and we just trust Him! Thanks for asking!

I read this today:

"Putin's spokesman sought to ease anger over the adoption ban by announcing that some of the dozens of adoptions already under way could go forward, allowing children who have already bonded with American adoptive parents to leave the country."

I hope and pray that this means good news for your family and others.

Yes, we are praying to that end! There is a lot of conflicting information, coming out of Russia. Some are saying that only the people who have been to court (6 families) will be able to proceed and some say they will include those who have met their children (Us!). It is still up in the air, but we are just relying on the Lord.
