@bjcheung77 Of course I am adamant, the purpose of this thread was to share my journey though the program, it will definitely get accredited and it definitely is a legitimate program. The level 8 UK stuff is something I will do, but I think I will learn more from this than the level 8. Saylor MBA isn't even operational...I have no intention of working in those countries...I wont mind cheap education from them though lol...

Maybe they really just want to compete with schools like UoP and stuff? I mean UoP is now like $4800 for a Masters degree, and they don't give scholarships for masters programs. Nextford U seems to be taking that place

@freeloader Yes it has ties to a few Universities, Brittany is one. Yes it appears to be operated from Malaysia, and some administration also have ties to the Malysian Government EPP 6 Asia eVersity program. What I see is successful administration from other programs, putting together another organization.

Those so called US "non-profit" schools have some of the most expensive programs I ever saw...I could probably invest in some real estate for the price I would pay for a "non-profit" degree lol...some are US 20 and 30k, 50k, 100k......

so far the experience reminds me more of a NationsUniversity style than a for profit "give me the money now" program. I really don't think they're out to be a cash grab as you're making them out to be. At the prices some of these "non-profits" charge there's no way you cant tell me they're not making profit...maybe after a few MBA classes I'll know for sure.

I know a few asian and middle east schools that are successful in partnerships with US universities and US and UK accreditors. One in Quatar in particular caught my eye with scholarship they have a US 12K DBA program.......

Hey worse case they don't get accredited I get a recommendation and get into a cheap Malysian program right....

I'm red pilling it...i'll see how far the rabbit hole goes and share my journey here....maybe it will help someone the way this thread has helped me over the years....

Maybe after you take some business courses, you’ll know the difference between a for-profit and a non-profit college/university. In the event they do not cover it, a for-profit university distributes its profits to its owners/shareholders whereas a non-profit university reinvests its profits back into the university.

A non-profit has to be profitable to succeed and keep the doors open…they just do not have shareholders/ownership.
