Hey guys,
I was wondering if anyone had a road map for TESC's BSBA in General Business Management? I have the template from TESC's web site. But I'm looking for a spread sheet that has all the tests organized under the subject categories. I realize each spread of tests may differ some but I'm just looking for a basic outline of the exams I need to be studying for. I hope I'm making a good decision here because I'm pretty much committed to this method of college at this point. I'm going to need encouragement. I'm currently being viewed as the resident freak of academia for pursuing my bachelor's in this manner.
Thanks guys!
You'll be hearing from me more I'm sure.

Hi JD,
Welcome to the board. I have a son that I am guiding through a TESC BSBA Computer Information Systems. His roadmap is a little different since he is earning some credits through the e-Army system, but I can throw a few tips your way. First off, I and a lot of others have had amazing success with using the InstaCert flashcards, while testing out of a business degree.
There is a high degree of information carry over in some of the areas, so you should be deliberate in choosing your sequence.
For instance
Start with CLEP Intro to Marketing
Then move on to CLEP Intro to Management
Then DANTES Intro to Supervision
Then DANTES Human Resource Management
Then CLEP Business Law
For the Accounting and Finance sequence
Start with CLEP Financial Accounting
Then move on to Managerial Accounting (New Straighterline Option)
Then DANTES Principles of Finance
Then DANTES Business Mathematics
The Business in Society and Business Policy TECEP's can be taken toward the end of your journey.
One note about your peers. Both of my sons work full time. They unsuccessfully tried to juggle work and B&M school for a couple of years now. They both finally said "Dad, help me test out so I can start my Masters".
The reality is that unless you have unlimited time and resources, testing out of your Bachelors makes a great deal of sense.
Good luck on your journey.

Good suggestions from Geezer, above. A couple of additions could be DSST Organizational Behavior, DSST Business Law II, DSST Management Info Systems and DSST Money & Banking. You'll need a total of 18 'UL' credits (i.e., not introductory level) within the Gen Management concentration, hence the suggestion for these 4.
Also, I strongly recommend studying for Macro/Micro Economics together - there's so much overlap it makes it much easier. Just jump in and start testing - this is the absolute best way to quickly finish a degree, IMO. For those that tell you it's strange, just get ready to smile smugly when you finish in less than a third of the time and for much, much less money than the 'traditional' route!
