Review of TESU Ethics in the Social Sciences?
#1
Can anyone who's taken Ethics in the Social Sciences with TESU post a quick review on the course? It is much appreciated!

I can go in depth later, but it's a super easy class on common sense stuff where you won't learn too much. 5 or 6 short essays (one due every other week) that I knocked out in the first three weeks of the course (and even that was a very slow pace for me), then one final that consists of a few short answer essays that you could probably breeze through blind without having taken the course.

Other than that, just make and reply to forum posts once a week and you're set.

Thanks so much jsd. Just a couple quick questions. Do I get all the course materials at once at the beginning of the course? And is there a final proctored exam or is it submitting essays?

You get all of the prompts and coursework upfront. But in my case I did all of the work ahead of schedule, but the Professor/Mentor didn't grade anything until the actual due date, so it took a while to get my grades.

The final was proctored, but was also open book. It wasn't long essays you were writing for the final, just a couple paragraphs. The prompts were situations such as "A psychologist is seeing a patient and x happens. What would be an appropriate way to approach this situation, and what concepts of ethics does this relate to"

It's been a while, so it wasn't exactly that, but you get the idea I think.
