You need 16 TESU (not 12) credits to avoid the residency waiver, and as davewill stated they'd all have to be completed within the same term with the flat rate tuition to lower the cost of the residency waiver and the two 3 credit required courses. Also keep in mind that it is recommended by those here that you take the Capstone course without any other courses; it is demanding enough on its own.

Your last remark is important to me. Six (cap, corner, 4 additional) courses seemed doable to me, but if one already is very demanding on it's own I should reconsider.

In general, they are more challenging, with a textbook to read, regular written assignments to be turned in for grading, plus a midterm and final. You will have to juggle a bunch of due dates as they are on a specific schedule (like a normal college course). ePacks are self-paced, which might help, but they probably aren't any easier.

If I were to knock out the Cap and Corner around the same time, am I able to apply for loans and grants to pay for them, or will it more-than likely just be out-of-pocket?

Is it possible to lock the Waiver fee?
Advisor has told that they may increase the waiver fee next June 2020.

You can lock it in by paying it, but it's only good for a year so it's a big risk if you can't graduate within a year
