I would love to know because the same thing happen to me when I took the biology part. The last test was the hardest.

I've been wondering this myself. I did a horrible job in my opinion on the first biology test - so I am making myself rethink and restudy a different book to wait and see how I do again. I don't want to use up all my chances....

Hi Mindy!

Unfortunately, I don't think that there is a way to reset the Peterson's exams in order to retake them. The site is specifically designed so that you can only take the practice exams once. The good news is that you have access to the tests that you've already taken for 90 days.

Something that I have found especially helpful when using Peterson's is make a note of the questions that I missed on the practice exams. This way, the tests serve a two-fold purpose. I can gauge my readiness to take the actual CLEP and also use the practice exam as a powerful study tool. So you might want to consider reviewing those questions that you missed and take note of the correct answer, especially if those questions made repeated appearances on all three practice tests.

Keep in mind that Peterson's exams are often more difficult than the actual CLEP. Additionally, many on the board have successfully passed the Sociology CLEP using IC alone. However, if you wish to supplement your study materials, try searching online for the term "sociology textbook companion site." Many textbook publishers have free online websites meant to accompany their books. These sites have interactive quizzes that are VERY similiar in content to Peterson's.

Additionally, both Spark Notes and REA publish wonderful Sociology study guides that are probably available at your local bookstore or library.

Best of luck on your exam. Smile

The way I got around the Peterson Exam is to cut and paste each question to a word document. Time consuming-yes, but worth the effort. The next step is to just take the tests. The initital score does not matter because all you want is the correct answers after completion of the test. Just print it out and their you have a complete copy for you to practice until a proficiency is developed.

That is what I did for the American Literature CLEP, which I passed today.

Good Luck to all!Rolleyes
