Does anybody have any experience with their free introductory courses?

Just wondering if you don't continue with them (as there are generally far better options) if they will issue a transcript for the completed course or not.

Edited for correction: I made a mistake, they do appear to be regionally accredited. I didn't recognize " higher learning commission".

I'm always happy to complete the free application waiver for those applying to WGU (I get a free gift from WGU for this). Just PM me your first/last name and a valid email so I can complete their form.

Looks like 1 undergrad and 1 grad course. If there are any Nevadans on this board, these courses should transfer to any NSHE institutions.

Didn't read all the fine print, as I'm on a tight schedule with a 4-day-old newborn in the house.
What's the catch here for those that don't continue with WIU? Can we take the course and cut the cord? The skeptic in me shot straight to the "no money up front" part. If this is truly catch-free, this is a great find for a few free RA credits.

From what I understand it costs of you decide to continue, however no mention if it'll show up on the transcript or not.

* New students who have not attended a Western International University (West) course in the past 365 days, and West bachelor graduates enrolling for a new West master degree. Will be a required course as determined by your program of study. This introductory course constitutes a risk-free period at West. Students who decide not to continue with West have no financial obligation for the introductory course. Students who continue with West will be billed for the introductory course tuition upon attending the second course.
Here is the catch : So, its really just a delay in billing. When/if you start the next course you are charged for the intro course
If you don't continue you have to pay for the course in order to get credit. I just called and asked.
