Reminder - UL Math via EdX starts today
#1
Anyone with some math ability (calculus'ish) who is looking for some upper level credits in math, don't forget to register for this course so you don't get too behind. The main page is here: https://www.edx.org/ace-alternative-credit-project

If it's new to you, this is a series of three courses worth these 3 credits each of ACE credit. They are upper levels and are $45 for a verified certificate each, you have two weeks from the start of the course to switch it from the free/audit version to the verified certificate version so you can try it out to see if you can handle the content.

The first one starts today, and it's called Introduction to Differential Equations.

Does anyone have feedback on this, especially the exam process with the proctoring and all? I was unable to take the first course due to extensive business travel. I took diff eq. a long time ago and remember next to nothing, so I could use a good refresher. I noticed you have to score 70% to get the ACE credits rather than the usual 50%.

From what I read, edX does automated proctoring and humans review it afterwards. But I'm hoping someone has actually gone through it to give a first-person account.
