Realistic goal to graduate in March? TESC BSBA eval provided...

Baf Wrote:Hi,
I really want to graduate in March (instead of June) but don't know if this is a realistic goal. I've provided my eval and have edited it to downsize it. What do you think?
(sorry its so long)
Thanks!!

I think the main thing slowing you down will be the Strategic Management course. Do you plan on doing TECEP? It is very possible to complete in 2.5 months, but is it really necessary to go that fast? Would a June graduation hurt you? I ask because, I needed to graduate by a certain time due to me leaving the military. If you have time, a 4-5 month plan is more realistic, but I think you can do the 2.5 months if you really go hard at it and take exams non stop for the 10 weeks.

Don't waste time by trying to save time. The only sure way to complete your degree is to knock out credits quickly and efficiently.

Don't let easiness bite you in the rear. Know your endgame (where you want to be) and plan backward from there. Your education is a means to an end.

Be honest professionally, socially and academically. There are people (especially little ones) who look up to you and they're going by your example.

Be proud. Whether you're an Engineer or Fast Food worker, there is honor and dignity in hard work.

Picking on people weaker than you only proves that you are a weak person.

Carnation Wrote:That's interesting because College Board (ACE Credit Recommendations | CLEP) and ACE (ACE CREDIT | The National Guide to College Credit for Workforce Training) both state that as of Oct 2012 the Calculus CLEP is worth 4 credits.

Perhaps someone active with TESC could ask about it?

ACE may make a recommendation but each Institution determines what they will accept, and how the credit is transferred. I supplied the link for TESCs CLEP transfer list. You could also take a look at the 2014-2015 college catalog, p73, which states the same; CLEP MAT231 Calculus (3).

I love that point of view Cookderosa, thanks for the positive wordsSmile

Prloko, June would be fine. I just want to get my degree and move. Rushing in my situation isn't necessary but I just want to be done so that I can relocate. Thanks for your opinion!

Suzanne D, what's you're crazy goal? Maybe I'll message you and we can try to keep each other motivated! I've decided I'm going to go for it but if all else fails then obviously June will do.

Baf, My goal is to get the 88 credits I need, by my estimation, to get my BSBA.I want to start a certificate program Spring semester. I know I won't have graduated by January. I am hopefull that if I can show I have completed course hour requirements, I will be able to start. If not I will wait till the fall semester.:p
Now that I know what I want to do, I am anxious to get started.
