Real sad

So class ends sunday for me on TESC and I bombed the final.

The one class that I needed a C in I probably will only get a D.

Farewell grad school.

Pick up the pieces and try again. Set yourself up for success. Never, never ever, throw your knowledge away. Hell, you might have passed?

i dunno. I got into a pretty competitive program and the one class they needed a C on... just wow.

I did good in the first block but the 2nd block was stuff that was barely touched on. I mean just wow.

For next time then: As soon as you are having a problem in a class make an appointment with your instructor/professor and get help. Make as many appointments as is necessary.

Is tomorrow the last day of class then?

You right. Haven't failed anything since I was 18.

What class did you need the C in, and does your chosen grad school have any unusual requirements that it must come from the school you earned your degree? (That's an odd one so I doubt it, but some of the more competitive schools have some real wackadoodle requirements.)

There are plenty of schools out there that probably offer that same course, and perhaps if you postpone your grad school enrollment a semester, you can squeeze in a retry from somewhere else. If you toss the course name out and get some of the resourceful forum members to check their notes, you might be able to find a self-paced version to replace it and not need to postpone grad school start.

Fight's not over yet! Keep your head up; it just means you get to be more resourceful.

I appreciate the advice. I will pass the class but not with a C. It is a Physics I class.

I was looking at a couple of self paced physics courses:

BYU independent
Independent Study in Idaho- seems like it gets good reviews and it comes with study guides.
UNECOM online- over $1k

Anybody have any opinions on this?

There is a ECE/UExcel Physics Exam. Can you test out or do you have to have an actual grade?
Don't miss out on something great just because it might also be difficult.

Road traveled: AA (2013) > BS (2014) > MS (2016) > Doctorate (2024)

The UExcel ECEP physics exam yields a letter grade, and this will appear on the transcript from Excelsior.

how does the UExcel work? Proctoring or time limit? I want to do it a fast as I can.
